1990 brought Boris a new lineup for The Splatterpunks' 2nd full length album. Along with the new members came a sound that was more raw and the songs started being comprised of more parts, as opposed to Rat Boy's smoother, more mellow, verse/chorus/verse/chorus approach.

It's Only Murder was recorded over 3 days in August of 1990 and mixed in one day. This recording was taken from the original tape and shows touches of deterioration in parts. This remastered version is as good as it gets.
